It looks a bit more out-and-out spoofish than Shaun was - but I hate to compare it to that work, because they are so extremely different. Plus, this is still just the trailer. (Oh, and was I the only one who was ridiculously excited to see Stephen Merchant in this?)

Is that Reece Shearsmith saying, "You and your monkey?" I couldn't really tell.
I agree it looks spoofier. Of course, you COULD probably cut Shaun into a trailer that makes it look like nothing more than a horror spoof...but I do agree this seems a bit more overt about it than Shaun was.
Either way, I'm excited. That trailer got a few chuckles out of me.
