This prototype has now entered a review phase and is therefore currently unavailable

Oh bugger.

Hope it's back soon, as it's one of the best things bbc.co.uk have ever done.

Done!

I'm willing to bet they don't get many positive comments, mind. I'm not saying anyone has a reason to complain, but it's just not as common for someone to be moved to say something nice rather than a complain.

I remember phoning the BBC to register my support during the Jerry Springer: The Opera shit storm. The girl on the phone had an odd mixture of delight and sheer surprise in her voice.

From a post on the Doctor Who Restoration Team Forum:

Those of you who have been using the prototype catalogue will have noticed it is down. The soft rollout was intended to identify faults, glitches etc., and has worked and a fairly difficult problem identified. The BBC have had to take the catalogue down but are committed to putting it back up as soon as possible and are working on it. Hopefully the delay will not be long.

Excellent.

The word on the BBC Backstage mailing list is that the Programme Catalogue's return is IMMINENT.
