Doomsday Teaser Trailers Online

Yes. Also being shown daily on BBC ONE - exactly like Series 1.

Just thought I'd start another story to discuss them, so people who don't want spoilers can keep away...

Also: the TARDISODE for Doomsday is fantastic. Really quite unnerving.

Yesterday's teaser was brilliant, although it raises all sorts of questions about what Rose does and doesn't remember from the end of TPOTW, as the suggestion was that she was meant to remember nothing after looking into the TARDIS. Perhaps the Doctor told her, at some point, that she was responsible for destroying the Daleks.

Or maybe seeing the Daleks brought it all back...

I reckon they should play that Tardisode during the 6 o'clock news or something. 'The government has declared a state of emergency' people would be like 'what???' See how many complaints they'd get.

What I love about that Tardisode is that from about halfway through she actually looks *genuinely* terrified - not just the usual kind of "I'm acting" terrified. It's pretty strong stuff, if you let yourself be dragged into it.

Yeah, that was a good tardisode. I hope they put them on the DVDs, it would be nice to see them on a bigger screen.

They should include an option along with 'Play All' where the Tardisodes are shown before the relevant ep automatically...

Definitely. It would be pretty naff if they were all on the extras disc or something. It should be 'Play Tardisode' 'Play Episode' 'Play Tardisode and Episode'. Also, the Children In Need scene needs to be on there. Personally I think they should integrate it into the episode. It's the missing piece. Otherwise there's no proper reaction from Rose to the Doctor's regeneration. Billie is excellent in that scene.

Have passed the idea to 2ent. So if it happens - it's my fault. :-)

I'd like to see Attack of the Graske on there as well, rejigged slightly to be operated with a DVD remote. And of course there's opportunity not only for cut-down Confidential, but also the best of Totally DW this time round.

As I understand it, the production in Wales are handling a lot of this stuff themselves, rather than handing it to 2ent.

One would hope that this, like GNP's involvement on the Dwarf discs, will ensure a decent eye is kept on the extras. Mind you, they were there last year, too, when the deleted scenes didn't make it on despite being compiled! I mean, I know I lose the odd smeg up or intro line - but for an entire extra to 'fall off'...?!

*still hoping it'll be dumped onto the series two release*

I think they just couldn't be arsed to include them. As far as I'm aware there was nothing substantial anyway. Many of the episodes came in short. They can't afford to shoot too much with the schedule they're on. I can't see them turning up for a good long while. And we probably won't get season 2 deleted scenes either.

Nah, RTD has said in Doctor Who Magazine that he personally made sure the Series 1 deleted scenes were rescued. I'm pretty certain they'll turn up somewhere, and I'm *convinced* won't let the same thing happen with Series 2.
