Oh Jesusing Cunting Christ

Remember this? Well, I think I've found one show that I can't defend.

The best I can come up with is "Kelly Packard".

I can't get on Youtube at work... but going by the name... is that California Dreams?

That show was actually alright at the start, but it got progressively worse as they kept rotating the cast and various people kept falling in and out of "love" with one-another. Plus, you always had to switch channel for a couple of minutes whenever they did one of their "songs".

Nothing could touch Saved By The Bell, of course. Say what you like about the godawful "continuations" of it, but the original series was sheer class. There's a reason why there were so many imitations (all produced by the same bloke, Peter Engel) - and California Dreams was by no means the worst of a bunch that included Hang Time, City Guys, Malibu CA and - *shudders* - the lowest of the low, USA High...

Saved by the Bell was clearly the direct precursor to Friends. And Saved by the Bell: The College Years the template for Joey.

I will also stick up for Saved By The Bell.

I just have no idea why.

> I just have no idea why.

The theme tune alone is a good enough reason.
