Lost Lost

Sky One to screen Lost Season 3 in the UK. That's sure to be good for the fans. OK, so the hardcore and the able will be downloading it from the US (my housemate is currently watching episode three), but a lot of analogue/Freeview users are going to be pretty pissed off.

"We are confident that Sky will build upon the established success of Lost, bringing the series to viewers in flexible ways, ideally suited to its watercooler, must-see status," said Tom Toumazis, evp at BVITV EMEA.

Yeah, that'll happen on a subscription-only channel.

That would be me. Humph.

Although this might be the push I need to cure me of the addiction - I might finally stop being hooked on a show I'm not that keen on...!

While it has just lost a lot of UK fans with this sale, there's no real need to fret. It'll be on Sky Three (a Freeview channel, if you're thick and didn't know) at pretty much the same time as it would have been starting on Channel 4 next year.

I hate to piss on your chips, Cappsy, but as Sky are technically better than the alternatives, it isn't really overpriced. We stick with Telewest out of a mixture of laziness and dislike of TEH MAN, but if Sky didn't offer so much, it wouldn't be so successful.

Actually, forget that comment, it's unlikely to be on Sky Three until much later on, so...everyone without Sky or who doesn't want the DVDs or download is screwed. Bye bye UK Lost fandom.
